Brewery, 1947 W. 25th St.
The board
consists of 19 members with at least 10 working journalists, who are designated
as Media (M) members. The other nine board members are designated as Other
(O) and may include journalists as well as people engaged in allied fields.
The sole function of the designation is to ensure the club is governed by a
majority of working journalists.
Directors serve
staggered two-year terms, so each year sees the election of either nine or
10 board members. This year, there was an extra board seat to fill for a
one-year term due to the early departure of a previous board member.
Current board

included strategic planning, fundraising, representation from forward-looking
